I keep these sessions intentionally simple, with a neutral, thoughtfully styled setup that allows your child’s personality, expressions and curiosity to take centre stage. No overwhelming props, no loud colours, just a calm, timeless environment where your baby can explore, make a mess, and be entirely themselves.
Cakes & Allergies
To ensure every family feels safe and comfortable, I don’t provide cakes for cake smash sessions due to potential allergies. Parents are very welcome to bring their own cake, and I’m always happy to guide you on size, colour and style so it photographs beautifully and complements the set.
If helpful, I can also recommend easy cake recipes or advise on what to ask your baker for, simple textures and soft tones always work best.

The ideal time is between 28–34 weeks. By this point, your bump has a lovely shape, and you’re hopefully still feeling comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the experience. That said, every pregnancy is different, so we can tailor it to what feels best for you.

I photograph maternity/newborn sessions outdoors in nature (fields, woods, or coastal spots), in the comfort of your home or at my own home studio that was designed for aethsetic home comforts. I’ll guide you through location options and help you choose somewhere that suits your vision and the season.

Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are sleepier and love being gently curled. That said, beautiful newborn images can be captured at any stage, every baby and family is different.

Yes, gently. My approach is relaxed and conversational. I’ll guide you into soft, natural movement without anything overly posed or awkward. You don’t need to know what to do, just come as you are, and I’ll do the rest.

Don’t worry at all, this is completely expected. When booking a newborn session, we pencil in a flexible window around your due date and adjust once your baby arrives.

I keep styling simple and natural, focusing on your baby rather than heavy props. Neutral wraps, blankets, and textures are available, and I encourage parents to bring any sentimental items they’d love included.

A session is secured with a signed contract and £50 booking fee. Final payment is due 1 day before. Availability is limited each month to ensure every family receives the care and attention they deserve.
